Words from Erin

I have been painting for the past 6 years. I started in high school after my older brother took some art classes. So, I decided to do the same. I do it for my own sanity, whenever I’m stressed I can just zone in and paint for hours. Especially on rainy days, I can sit and bang out a painting in just a couple hours if I’m really inspired. I love Leonid Afremov, he uses vibrant colors in his landscapes of Paris and isn’t afraid to show the brush strokes throughout it. In each of his pieces you see every color imaginable and some how he makes it work even on what you would think is a dark scene.
