After not playing soccer during her freshman year at Cabrini University, Payton Greene went to try out for the team her sophomore year. After Payton, who no one knew impressed the whole coaching staff, including head coach Ken Prothero, she earned a spot on the team.

A year has passed since Greene got her Cabrini uniform. She is now a starter for one of the best teams in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Greene and her teammates are getting ready for an important matchup with conference rival Cairn University on a hot September afternoon. Greene, who hopes to be named a captain next season, explains what the team will need to do to win.
