It was a night full of Disney magic as students gathered on campus for an evening of games, laughs and more. CAP Board hosted the ‘Disney Extravaganza’ event for all to enjoy in the Widener Lecture hall. The event started around nine o’clock last Friday night.

Disney Extravaganza was constructed by two freshmen CAP board members, Abigail Scardelletti and Destiny Perez. They both love Disney, so coming up with the event and planning the games came easily to them.

“I like Disney, especially the back-in-the-day Disney, and thought it would be a cool event to catch everyone’s attention because of a lot of people like [Disney],” criminology major Perez said.

Perez and Scardelletti came up with multiple games to test everyone’s knowledge on Disney. Some of the games that were played throughout the night named that character, guessed which quote belonged to which Disney movie and matched the Disney couples.

“It interested me that it was Disney themed and that there was a chance to win something based off the knowledge of Disney,” freshman criminology major Noelia Ramirez said.

In between the games there was down time for those to color and relive your childhood memories. They also had scrabble and word searches to play.

“It’s a fun night with food and a great night hanging with your friends,”  freshman digital communication and social media major Scardelletti said.
