Gossip Girl

James Franco returns to the screen as well as the biopic film genre in “127 Hours.”  According to IMDB.com, Franco once starred as Hollywood icon James Dean, however “127 Hours” is not about a celebrity.  Think along the lines of Emile Hirsch’s adventurer-meets-danger role in the 2007 film “Into the Wild.”

Will actress / singer Lindsay Lohan be remorseful for her wild ways after her most recent legal troubles?  Only time will tell if we hear more of such issues connected to the “Mean Girls” and “Freaky Friday” star.  Or maybe she will begin to stay clean and sober, following the likes of other celebs who beat similar problems.

Local movie theatres recently hinted at some mystery this Fall on NBC with trailers for “The Event.”  Whatever the event is, it will take an eye for details in the show’s plot to figure it out.  Viewers, be ready to bring out your inner sleuth while following characters up to event itself.

“The Mentalist” season three begins later this month on CBS with more surprising twists in crime-solving drama.  Between cases, mentalist Patrick Jane’s personal nemesis is out there bringing suspense as to any face-to-face encounter.  Tune in and find out how Jane (Simon Baker) puts the pieces together in his own way.

Reality show fans will not be at a loss for more new episodes focused the daily lives of reality stars.  The Kardashians, Snooki and friends and plenty of others will be back this year for their loyal fans.  This is sure to bring on the gossip about what the “Jersey Shore” cast is up to.
