Fall season is here, which means perfect weather, changing leaves and football season. It also means that Halloween is approaching! If you’re from Pennsylvania and you are looking for something fun and exciting to do to celebrate this national holiday, I’m here to help you.
Pennsylvania is filled with many haunted houses that attract hundreds of visitors every year. Some of those attractions include the Haunted Hayride and Bates Motel Haunted House locate in Glenn Mills, Pa., (http://www.thebatesmotel.com/) Jason’s Woods Hayride in Lancaster, Pa., (http://www.jasonswoods.com/) Terror Behind The Walls in Philadelphia which includes a massive haunted house in a real prison (http://www.easternstate.org/halloween) and The PennHurst Haunted Asylum in Spring City, Pa. (http://www.pennhurstasylum.com/)
If haunted houses aren’t your thing, there are always other activities that you and your family or friends could do. Pumpkin patches, corn mazes and hayrides are always a great thing to do around this time of the year. A place known as Linvilla Orchards is a 300-acre farm located in Media, Pa., dedicated to agriculture, entertainment and education. This is a great place to go with family and friends. At the Orchards, there are many activities, such as hayriding, pumpkin picking live concerts and many more. (http://www.linvilla.com/) Also, safe trick-or-treating is a must for Halloween.
