After seven years as head coach of the men’s soccer team, Glen Jaskelewicz has resigned from his role with the team, Cabrini announced on Monday, Nov. 28. Jaskelewicz leaves Cabrini with a career coaching record of 82-52-8.

After leading the Cavs to five victories in 2005, his first year as head coach, Jaskelewicz led the team to a 12-win season in 2006 and a 16-4 record in 2007. In 2008, the Cavs won their first CSAC title under Jaskelewicz and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. The Cavaliers also won the CSAC title in 2009.

Jaskelewicz guided the Cavs to 9-10-1 records in both 2010 and 2011. Cabrini advanced to the CSAC playoffs both seasons but fell short in their quest for a championship. The team lost to Gwynedd-Mercy College in the first round of the playoffs this year by a score of 3-0. That game would prove to be Jaskelewicz’s final game as head coach of the Cavaliers.
