Off to a 17-1 start, the success of the No. 8 Cabrini men’s basketball team can no longer be kept a secret.

Senior guard Cory Lemons was featured in Mike Jensen’s Wednesday, Jan. 25, Philadelphia Inquirer story titled “Off Campus: At Cabrini, Lemons is drawing attention.” The article, which highlights the season Lemons and the Cavaliers are having, can be found here.

KYW’s Matt Leon also talked to Lemons and head coach Marcus Kahn for a story titled “Cabrini Storms Its Way Into Div. III Top Ten” that was posted online this morning. That article, which includes podcasts of both interviews, can be found here.

Lemons is Cabrini’s top scorer this season, averaging 17.3 points per game. He also leads the team with 6.7 assists per game and is second on the squad with 6.2 rebounds per game.

Recently, Lemons was honored by Cabrini as Student-Athlete of the Week for the second time this year. He also was recognized as a member of the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Jan. 22.

The men’s basketball team picked up their 41st consecutive home conference victory against Immaculata University last night in an 81-74 victory. The team is now 12-0 in CSAC conference play.

Lemons and the Cavs will take on Centenary College in an away contest on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 3 p.m.
