1. Letters to the editor, announcements, or independent articles must be relevant and timely. Preferably, they should be submitted on disk, as an email attachment to the editor or through this website.
2. Letters must not be longer than 750 words.
3. Letters must be received by 6 p.m. on Sunday in order to be published the following Thursday.
4. Letters must be signed and contain the writer’s phone number or email address so that the letter can be verified.
5. Once received, all submissions become property of The Loquitur. Under no circumstances does The Loquitur guarantee publication. The board’s decision is final.
6. The Loquitur reserves the right to edit letters and articles for content, length and grammatical error. Letters should be free of obscenities and personal attacks, and should contain correct and factual information.
