Taking him out of the game: A minor setback for a major comeback

Priest

In 2016, Cabrini University announced it was adding a baseball team to the athletic department. This news was especially exciting for incoming freshmen who were recruited to make history at Cabrini by being a part of the new baseball team’s first season. The team was assembled and vigorously worked together to bond and practice as a team.

Freshman third baseman Steven Priest was thrilled to have the honor of being a starter for the Cabrini Cavaliers. Days before the fall season began, Priest tore his ACL and meniscus, taking him out of the game he worked so hard to play.

This was a major setback for Priest, but with dedication and encouragement from his team and family, Priest will be starting his sophomore year baseball season with the Cavaliers.
