10 Netflix movies to get you in the Christmas spirit

1. “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”

This is the iconic Jim Carrey version. The original is the ‘60s cartoon movie that was also a classic. With this movie you will be able to laugh along with Mr. Grinch as he is trying to steal Christmas from Whoville. He eventually learns that the holiday is not all about the gifts, it’s about the people that you are with. 

2. “A Christmas Prince”

The holiday rom-com follows the journalist Amber Moore who traveled to Aldovia to write a story on the prince’s ascension to the royal throne. She went undercover to get more information and ended up falling for the prince while doing so. 

3. “A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding”

After watching the first Christmas Prince everybody lost their minds! They ended up making a sequel and just like and princess movie there’s always a royal wedding happening.

4. “The Holiday Calendar”

There is magic in the air! The magical Advent calendar predicts everything that is going to happen to the main character Kat Graham. It reveals the unexpected clues to her true destiny.

5. “The Princess Switch”

Everybody loves a good princess story. In the Princess Switch, starring Vanessa Hudgens who plays a single American bakers enters a baking competition in Belgravia. In Belgravia, she plays a woman that looks exactly like her that is engaged to the prince of Belgravia. The two eventually switch lives and find their romantic partners. 

6. “The Christmas Chronicles”

Kurt Russell is the star of this movie playing Santa. He gets stuck with two teenage kids that are stealing his sleigh away. They definitely make it on the naughty list for that!

7.  “Holiday in the Wild”

Lowe stars in the new holiday Netflix movie. In this movie, Lowe is a tour guide in Africa who meets Kristen Davis, that goes on a Safari after finding out her

husband wants to get a divorce. She agrees to help the elephant sanctuary after finding an elephant hurt with Lowe’s character. They are “We’re just friends” in this movie.

8. “Christmas With The Kranks”

This Christmas film starring Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis premiered in 2004 but everybody still loves it. When they find out their daughter won’t be home for Christmas, the Kranks decided that they just wanted to skip the holiday and go on vacation …until things take an unexpected turn. They have to figure out how they are going to have their annual Christmas party last minute. 

9. “Christmas Inheritance”

It’s just another cheesy holiday movie. Ellie has to prove to her father that she capable of running her family’s toy business.  To do that she has to visit Snow Falls (where the company started) to learn what the true meaning of Christmas is. While she is there she meets a handsome man. Can you guess what happens next?

10. “White Christmas”

You cannot have a Christmas movie marathon without a holiday classic. It’s a story about two war soldiers that fall for two sisters. They follow the girls to a resort that was owned by a former commanding officer that is in trouble of keeping the resort open. They do the best they can to keep it running.
